Zerihun Teklemariam Dame (Postdoctoral Fellow) obtained his PhD (2012) from Institute of Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry, Georg-August University of Göttingen, Germany. During his doctoral research, he worked on the discovery, structure elucidation and biological activities (anticancer, antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, and cytotoxic activities) of microbial metabolites. He joined Dr. Wishart’s research group in June 2012 and is mainly involved in NMR, GC-MS, HPLC, DIMS and ICP-MS based metabolomics of biofluid (urine, blood, serum saliva, etc.), plants and microorganisms.
