Research interests
My research in this group is focussed on two main areas: a) syntheses and purifications of isotopically labeled and unlabeled metabolites for mass spectrometry internal standards and derivatizing agents used in quantitative LC-MS analyses; b) development of chemical and/or enzyme-based colorimetric assays for the quantification of metabolites which are biomarkers of CRC and MSUD/PKU in human urine and serum samples.
